The rules for using Alag, in plain words.

Who we are

Alag (alag.app) is a product of JAYPERCLICK, a proprietorship registered in India as an MSME (Udyam UDYAM-RJ-31-0040941).

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean JAYPERCLICK, and "you" means the business that signs up for Alag.

What Alag is

Alag connects your own WhatsApp Business number to software we set up and run for you: a shared team inbox, an auto-reply bot, a catalogue, private dealer rates, an order book and broadcasts, depending on your plan. The exact scope for your business is the written scope we send you before any payment; anything not in it is quoted separately.

Your WhatsApp number and Meta account stay yours

Your number, WhatsApp Business account and Meta business portfolio stay in your own name and your own Meta account. We connect them through Meta's official sign-up flow; we never ask for your Facebook password.

WhatsApp is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of it is also subject to the WhatsApp Business Terms and the WhatsApp Business and Commerce Policies. JAYPERCLICK is an approved WhatsApp Tech Provider; Alag is not otherwise endorsed by Meta.

Fees and payment

Setup is paid in milestones, as listed in your written scope: the first to start, the second on go-live, and for the Alag plans the third 30 days after go-live. We start work only after the first milestone is received.

Monthly fee covers the server, daily backups, updates and support. It starts after the 30-day check (for Basic, 30 days after go-live), is paid in advance each month, and does not change with the number of staff or messages.

Meta's message charges are separate. Meta bills them to your own payment method in your Meta account. We add no markup.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card details. Our invoices currently carry no GST, as JAYPERCLICK is not registered under GST; this will change if we register, and we will tell you before it does.

Your responsibilities

Message only people who have contacted you or agreed to hear from you. Do not use Alag to send spam, to sell anything illegal, or to break the WhatsApp policies above.

You are responsible for your catalogue, rates and the messages your team sends. Keep your team's logins private and tell us when someone leaves so their access is removed.

If a payment is late

If a monthly fee is unpaid, we remind you after 7 days and call you after 15. After 30 days unpaid we may pause your inbox. Your data is kept, nothing is deleted, and service resumes as soon as the payment is made. Your WhatsApp number always stays yours and keeps working in the WhatsApp Business app.

Your data

Your chats, buyers, catalogue and rates belong to you. We use them only to run Alag for you, as our privacy policy explains. On request we export them for you.

Leaving Alag

You can stop at any time by telling us. We help you move your number to your own setup and hand over your data. Fees already due for work done are still payable.

Availability

We run Alag on monitored cloud servers with daily backups and aim to keep it available at all times, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. WhatsApp itself, Meta and internet providers are outside our control.

Our liability

We are responsible for providing the service with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales or profit.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change affects you, we tell you on WhatsApp at least 15 days before it applies.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking. If that fails, the courts with jurisdiction over the place of business of JAYPERCLICK decide it.
