What we collect, why, and who sees it.

Who we are

Alag (alag.app) is a product of JAYPERCLICK, a proprietorship registered in India as an MSME (Udyam UDYAM-RJ-31-0040941). We are responsible for the data described here.

Visitors to alag.app

We use the Meta Pixel to measure our ads (page views, and taps on the WhatsApp and demo buttons). When you tap a demo or WhatsApp button we also count the tap, without any personal data. Your language choice is remembered in your own browser.

People who try the demo

When you ask for a demo on WhatsApp, we keep your WhatsApp number, name and the answers you tap (trade, team size, tools, dealer count) to send you a personal demo link and to follow up. The demo itself runs on sample data and is reset after use.

Our clients

We collect what you give us to set up and bill Alag: business name, billing name and address, GSTIN if any, owner and staff names, phone numbers and emails, your catalogue and dealer list. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we receive the payment status, never your card or bank details.

Your customers' data

When your buyers message your WhatsApp number, their messages, names, numbers and orders are stored on your Alag server so your team can reply. We process this data only on your behalf and on your instructions, never for our own marketing, and never share it with other clients.

Where data is kept

On cloud servers we run for Alag, with daily backups. Our website and payment page are hosted by Hostinger. Payments go through Razorpay, WhatsApp messages through Meta.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run Alag: Meta (WhatsApp messages), Razorpay (payments), and our hosting providers. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Demo leads: up to 12 months after the last contact. Client account and billing records: as long as you are a client and as long as tax law requires after that. Your customers' data: for as long as you use Alag; after you leave we hand it over and delete our copy within 30 days, unless you ask us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. Your buyers can ask you, and we help you answer.
